Last month, our director at Fidmag, Dr. Edith Pomarol-Clotet —also principal investigator at CIBERSAM— actively participated in the Expanded Care Development Commission organized by Fundación Hospitalarias.
This event is part of a collaborative and participative approach aimed at promoting excellent, innovative, and person-centred care.
Over a day and a half of in-person sessions, care directors and commission coordinators from across the Fundación Hospitalarias network gathered to jointly define the care strategy for the next three years. This initiative aims to strengthen networking, promote knowledge exchange, and foster continuous improvement across all centres.
In this context, FIDMAG contributed its expertise in research and strategic support through the participation of Dr. Pomarol-Clotet, who highlighted the importance of integrating scientific evidence into care processes. Our participation reinforces FIDMAG's commitment to clinical excellence and the generation of useful and transferable knowledge to improve patient treatment and quality of life.

At FIDMAG, we value these kinds of gatherings as key opportunities to connect research with care practice, supporting a model that is more efficient, human, and grounded in shared knowledge.
We remain committed to advancing high-quality, person-centred care through research.
