FIDMAG's main objective is to work in the understanding, the prevention and the treatment of diseases, especially those related to mental health, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Our main lines of research focus on the development and clinical application of neuroimaging techniques and the combination of these techniques with neuropsychology and genetics to understand the neurobiology underlying these disorders.

The role involves both conducting research tasks and coordinating research activities at the center, as well as its functional integration with FIDMAG.
